Edited by the church historian and Benedictine monk Cuthbert Butler (1858-1934), this two-volume edition of Palladius' Lausiac History combines the Greek text with scholarly analysis. Volume 2 (1904) contains the full Greek text, supported by a substantial introduction as well as detailed critical notes and appendices.
