The poems in 'The Lifting' are drawn from Michael May's work created throughout the years. From the sixties, living in Belfast, North of Ireland, to the present day, this first collection includes poems from personal perspectives, experiences, observations and narratives.
Michael was born and grew up in Belfast and now lives in Cookstown, County Tyrone.
