With America more divided than any time since the Vietnam era and Civil Rights Movement, it has become almost automatic to pick a team and revel with them in the culture wars. Republican or Democrat, Conservative or Liberal, Trump or Never Trump, and so on. Even the phrases Black Lives Matter and All Lives Matter are proper nouns and strict partisan divides. It has become lost on much of the country that government is a serious job, not a sports team your cheer for. Personality cults are replacing objective evaluations and the minority party routinely governs by obstruction.
