The Muscle Shoals Pick Me Up

Roger Devereux is angry. Angry at himself, angry at his ex-girlfriend Veronica, angry at the world. After stopping a mass shooting with a brutality that has the mayor of Birmingham looking for any excuse to prosecute him for his actions, Roger follows the advice of his lawyer and gets out of town. On a camping trip in the Sipsey Wilderness he meets a woman that rekindles something inside him that he thought was lost forever. But if Roger suffers from one curse, it's that the women who enter his life never seem to come out alive on the other side.
