The Queen's Sister

The Queen's SisterBy T. J. Mindancer
About The Queen's Sister

Maggie Colter is living the life she's chosen, rather than the life she was born into. Not that she had much choice after her ultra-conservative father banished her for a simple photo in the tabloids of her kissing a girl. Then the unimaginable happens. Her father, the king of Vineburg, a tiny island country off the coast of France known for its vineyards and wine-soaked nightlife with a medieval twist, and her second cousin heir to the throne, die together in a mysterious mishap. Maggie returns home to help her older twin sister, Princess Suzanne, go from a typical yacht-owning, jet-setting European royal princess to being Vineburg's first queen in its eight-hundred year history. Maggie has her hands full between stopping a coup by a group determined to keep the royal lineage male, to sparring with a descendent of the founders of Vineburg over the rights to the throne. Fortunately for Maggie, her old roommate from college, Erin Winters, is leading an archeological dig in Vineburg and is a more than willing accomplice to help Maggie put together the pieces of the puzzle surrounding the royal claims. Not to mention, the rekindling of their old friendship is creating enough sparks between them to have the local gossips working overtime.
