Subjective in-depth technical discussion such as - nail shape, rest/free stroke, sitting position, etc. - was intentionally left out in favor of playable musical material. The method is designed to allow flexibility for instructors with varying perspectives and pedagogical styles. Lessons are arranged by techniques and key signatures. Keys covered are C/Am, G/Em, D/Bm, A/F#m, E/C#m, F/Dm, Bb/Gm. Early introduction to modes is included. 20 pages of additional repertoire includes: Greensleeves, Jesu Joy of Man's Desiring, Simple Gifts, Canon in D, Silent Night, Gymnopedie no.1. Several well-known Hudson originals are included: Harp Strings, Rainy Scene, Blue Stairways, Sambavacation and many more. Lessons also include standard classical repertoire by Carulli, Carcassi, Giuliani, Sor, Sanz and others. Solo and duet arrangements of international folksongs, hymns, carols are featured in lessons and as repertoire.
