The Sands of Inishowen

Two brothers seek world adventure and excitement. Raised and educated by the monks in the Italian Alps, experienced mountain climbers and skilled in the art of self-defense, they set out to fulfill their destiny in a sixteenth century Europe fraught with hostility, piracy, slavery, prostitution and war. Will their training be sufficient to sustain them in their endeavors to survive the ravages of war, ineptitude and insanity of men and the devastating forces of nature? They must overcome treachery, deceit and atrocity, massacre and murder motivated by lies and the greed for gold.
Torn between the love of two women and their escape to safety and freedom, they are trapped in a strange land where they have no family or friends and do not speak the language, they are constantly looking over their shoulder for fear of arrest and execution. Relentlessly pursued and threatened by their one-time neighbors and now their sworn enemy with a hatred nurtured by their misguided father. In a land where they can't trust anyone nor can they mistake the offer of friendship as genuine kindness.
