The Soldier's Journey

In this story, Col. George Lee is in a happy marriage. Laura, his wife, is with child. Several dangers face George, Laura, and his best friend and his wife. His mercenary friend has married his sister, and he still helps George as requested. George has attempts made upon his life, and unusual circumstances surround the kidnapping of his friend Harry's son. Ultimately, despite the adverse situations he faces, George enjoys his life.
