The stars in the darkness

Paris, 1941: Maggie, who is spirited, commits herself to the Resistance in defiance of her mother's wishes. Her life is a frenzy of phony passports, covert nocturnal errands, and assisting Jews fleeing a deadly Paris that is getting worse by the hour. She says goodbye to Emil, a fellow soldier, as he leaves the city with the Nazis pursuing him in the shadows.
