The Struggle Is Real Losing a Child

About The Struggle Is Real Losing a Child

There is no pain that can compare to a parent's loss of their child. Hopelessness, heartbreak, pain, the worst nightmare, and darkness surround you. How can you breathe? How can you pick yourself back up? How can you get through each day? I know how you feel, and I feel your pain. I lost my son four days before his twentieth birthday. I had no clue where to turn, what to do, or how I would even be able to pick myself back up. I have to share with you that there is hope! There is a way for you to get through your nightmare. I want you to be able to remember all the love, laughter, and great memories. It is okay for you to grieve, hurt, and cry; but you have to get back up and take it one minute, one hour, and one day at a time. I will share my story and how and what has gotten me through this nightmare. You never get over losing your child, but there are ways to help you get through it. I am so sorry that you have had to bear this weight, pain, and suffering. Please read through my struggles to help you through yours. May God bless you and your journey!
