After winning the battle, they think they're safe. However, the magical onslaught has just begun, and the war has started.

The five Unlikely Defenders must fight more horrifying monsters moving forward- monsters that are almost impossible to beat and don't like magic in the hands of the mundane.

While the magical realm has slipped into chaos and despair with the scholars and 'humans' all but wiped out, all that remains are the creatures. The Unlikely Defenders must decide if they'll become a united front to save both the magical and earth realms. Each of the five has a skill that lends to their strengths, but is also held back by their weaknesses.
