The United Church of Christ in the Shenandoah Valley

Congregational studies have expanded our understanding of American religion by looking at particular congregations as case studies, or by comparing large sets of congregations through survey research analysis. This book looks at a local jurisdiction of a mainline denomination, to explore how its national commitments are affecting the practices of local congregations.
