The Women who Made Sam Clemens into Mark Twain

Six Women who were present in Sam Clemens life changed him forever. From his Mother to the Italian Countess his life was directed by the women he loved and worked with. His sweet heart for life, Laura Wright, Ina Coolbrith, his writing instructor, Olivia Langdon, his future wife, and others created the Man we know as Mark Twain. Without these women, Sam would just have been anouther country bumpkin from Hannibal, Missouri.
