The Works of Thomas Carlyle

Thomas Carlyle (1795-1881) was one of the most influential authors of the nineteenth century. His introduction of German literature and philosophy into Victorian society profoundly influenced later philosophical and literary ideas. Volume 7 of this 1896 edition of his works contains the second volume of Oliver Cromwell's Letters and Speeches.
