The World

In this meditation on John 17 we see how God has created the world as a sanctuary, a holy place, but it is also a battlefield in which God now wages holy war against sin and the powers. To participate in his holy war, we need first to be sanctified.

It is into this paradoxical world, sanctuary and battlefield, that Jesus sends his disciples, asking his Father to perform the sanctifying work. because while the world is around them, it is also within them.
This meditation will help you grow in your love for the world, while also facing its suffering-resisting evil because you are confident in the victory of Christ.
