Within these pages, I am guiding you through the explanation of your journey to your kids and family using not only words, but also detailed illustrations to help when the words fail you. While the discussions are hard, my goal is to reach as many people as possible and help make life easier during their adjustment period. We all need guidance. From my own personal experience, finding the right words after a life changing diagnosis is difficult to explain to an adult. However, explaining it to a child is ten times harder.
