About Travels and Adventures of Monsieur Violet

This volume presents the original text of "The Travels and Adventures of Monsieur Violet in California, Sonora, and Western Texas, by Captain Frederick Marryat. He was a Royal Navy officer, a novelist, and an acquaintance of Charles Dickens.
