INSIDE: TROUBLES BLOW.
No man is perfect, agreed. But P.I Vernon Majaro was not even close. He was a flawed Marine veteran in more ways than one. The one that affected him most was his weakness for women. He did not distriminate much. Wantonness was pleasure, passion and pain all rolled into one. His unquenched thirst and recklessness had brought him trouble more times than he could count.
Winds of misfortune lately, blew him and his detective craft to a small city of Slidell, Louisiana, in the south. Unfortunately, adding drinking and gambling to his list of sapping vices could only send his life spiraling in one direction, down!
He considered ending it all, when his past came knocking. Whether he should answer that door or not was not a matter of choice. It was a necessity.
What awaited him on the other side would be unsurmountable choices, battles and challenges. Overcoming such require the discipline of a transformed man. Can he make it?

All he had was Angelina, one 33-year-old Vietnamese woman, he was training to be a detective. She esteemed his quiddity and believed in his innocence. This was like wishing on a rainbow and a star! How often do dreams, rainbows and stars share the same space in the cloud of troubles?
