- The Pandemic Series

About (UN)Imaginable

(UN)IMAGINABLE The Pandemic Series Worldwide Pandemic? Honestly, who would've believed this could happen? Not me. But it did. I was laid off from my day job on March 18th, and all of a sudden told to stay home for the unforeseeable future. After ten days of feeling unsettled and maybe a little scared, I decided to do what I love. I started to paint. The decision I made was to paint one painting a day until the self isolation was over. I had no idea how long that would be, but I finally had the time to be a full-time artist. Every day, with every painting, I wrote about how I was feeling - little thoughts that were reactions to social media or the news or conversations with friends. This was an unprecedented time and emotions and opinions were flying. I went back to work on May 22, #56 of my Pandemic Series, and decided that I would end on #60. This is an Art Book first and foremost. But it is also a journal of my experience through a crazy time.
