Kya Snow is an agent of the Bureau of Security and Investigation and after losing her old team months ago, she's found herself the newest member of an unconventional, elite unit known as the Nighthawks. Led by her cousin, Basil Barnes: the first autistic captain of the B.S.I, the Nighthawks are a team of secret agents stationed in New York and their job is to protect the rich and influential inhabitants of Kingwood Boulevard, the wealthiest street in Manhattan.

Though unorthodox, Kya finds herself right at home alongside her new teammates; well mannered Georgie Mathews, wildcard Tiago Reyes, and especially the team's leading scientist, smart and compassionate Hiram Koplowitz.

However, when a mysterious criminal organization known as Elysium emerges from the shadows to kidnap one of the inhabitants of Kingwood Boulevard, it falls to the Nighthawks to save their upstairs neighbor, and unravel the mystery of the strange Elysium agent who captured him.

A slow-burn, character-driven mystery rooted in mythology, religious symbolism, and theoretical science, the Nighthawks covers themes of what it means to be human, acceptance of self, and the importance of not flying alone. (edited)
