At the end of a wicked winter, two years into their life together, Freddy Richards bursts into the home of Donovan Shorter and his love, Cade Richards to announce their father's sudden illness. As Donovan and Cade are drawn back to the small Michigan beach town where Cade's life begin, both of them must come to terms with things left long behind. Beside them will be Rob Dwyer and Isaiah Frey, first encountered in Eden, along with their untraditional family, and the fallout of their untraditional ways.
