Meet Sergeant Mark Truitt. Mark is a police investigator, husband, and father who began his career as a high school teacher but ultimately decided on a career in law enforcement. Good at getting the bad guys off the street, Mark's challenging, but fairly predictable life abruptly changes one morning with an assignment to investigate an apparent suicide. From this point on, Mark and his partner and best friend, Jamie Littlebird will take an incomprehensible trip into a murky and evil world of greed, violence, and deception.
