About Well, Let's Just See How the Day Goes
The road to healing is never straight and narrow; it is rocky and full of potholes and wrong turns. Time after time, we seem to encounter impossible situations that leave us questioning whether God is there for us. But the truth is, declining mental health is a spiritual battle declared by the Enemy, who forces us to focus on ourselves and our internal world, distracting us from the restoration power of our Heavenly Father. In Rick Rodgers's memoir, he journals countless hours of counseling, practicing proven therapies, and learning about his God-designed personality to foster wholeness and healing. God cannot continue His work in us without changing our hearts, and redirecting our focus. With God, we are never alone in our struggles, so when we are trying to make sense of life, we must let go of what we think life should be, shift our focus from inward to upward, and let our Father heal us within. Well, Let's Just See How the Day Goes, redirects our focus from self-centered to God-focused.
