When Chef Marceau leaves for a three-week culinary competition in Paris, a temporary replacement, Logan Powell, comes to the Grand Marceau to the brisk Christmas season. When Chef Marceau's spirited niece, Flaxie, catches the eye of the young recruit, he balances his romantic interest with the challenges of his career. Their relationship flourishes in the Christmas environment, along with other unexpected romances including the owner, Chef Bernard Marceau himself.
An avalanche warning creates fear for an impoverished family isolated at a woodcutter's cabin high in the mountains, with three young girls and a Christmas baby due. With snow-packed roads inaccessible, Logan and Flaxie and the ranger reach the woodcutter's cabin on snow machines, with supplies and Christmas meals, gifts and stockings for the hearth, and medical help for the newborn.
The spirit of charity grows at the hotel, inspired by tales of the ancient king from the Carol, Good King Wenceslas. Their new plan to care for others enlists the hearts of guests and employees, and together they bring a Wenceslas Christmas of joy into the village.
