"There ain't nothin' in there," He laid the shotgun on the counter beside her. "Is there Darlin'?" Catarina's eyes traveled up his shoulder, but still couldn't meet his. There was a deep indented scar on the side of his lip that disappeared into the mask. She took a deep breath and resisted shuddering.
"I never said that." Catarina's voice was little more than a whisper.
Catarina Stone has had her fair share of trials in life. Somehow, she gets caught in the middle of a bank robbery before being yanked out of her simple life, only days later by the same men.
