This book is a result of one of the years of Bible study and discussion at Jupiter First Church. Plowing through the events of the Old Testament David's life, the author began to think how interesting it might be to transfer the personality and life of this biblical character to the modern world. If David were a politician, hoping to become president of the United States, would he still be "the brightest and best"? Would he be able to hold on to his beliefs and ethics in the face of the pleasures and perils of accumulated power? How could the events of his life in biblical days be updated to fit the modern world? This book is the result.
