When I was Younger

When you were a baby, you discovered simple things like fingers and toes and whatever you found on the floor. As you got older, you started learning about other things: how to walk, how to talk, how to eat, and even about a Person who lives up in Heaven named God. When I was Younger by Bessie T. Wilkerson is a family poem that takes you back to when you were a child, learning about your world and your family. With each passing year, you continued to learn and later, passed along what you learned to a new family member.
