The daylight world has always been off-limits to rats and other night-time creatures… but why? A teen-aged rat named Roddy is determined to find out even if it means challenging his family's long-held beliefs. But alas, the daylight world may be as unwelcoming as his grandparents had forewarned.
Shining light on hidden truths, pushing friendships to the limit, and dodging the paws and claws of the daylight creatures may be an adventure too painful to pursue… maybe living in the shadows is easier and safer after all!
