About WOMEN IN AFRICAN POLITICS
The book is the author's direct contribution to Women in Nigerian and African Politics. The activities associated with the governance of a country or area is known as politics, The Author is of the school of thought that women should be given an opportunity to rule Nigeria and Africa as the men who have ruled the country since independence have been largely overwhelming. She says, "CERTAINLY, BEING A FEMALE ASPIRANT IS VERY SIGNIFICANT IN TIMES LIKE THIS, BECAUSE THE MEN HAVE TRIED BUT FAILED NIGERIANS OVER THE YEARS. BESIDES, THE MILLENNIUM GOALS RECOMMEND THAT 35 PERCENT (OF ELECTIVE OFFICES) SHOULD BE GIVEN TO WOMEN, AND ONLY THE MEN HAVE RULED SINCE INDEPENDENCE. IT¿S NOW THE TURN OF WOMEN TO HAVE THEIR SPACE AFTER 60 YEARS OF MEN¿S PRESIDING OVER DEMOCRACY." She is a strong political activist and critic of the President Buhari administration. When asked about the 2019 elections? She was critical about the current situation in Nigeria, as well as President Buhari BECAUSE OF THE ECONOMIC DOWNTURN; ADDITIONAL MENACE CREATED BY FULANI HERDSMEN, TERRORISTS EVOLVING MUSLIM ASSAILANTS, IN ADDITION TO THE BANDITS, ISLAMIST BOKO HARAM AND THE CURRENT BUHARI'S LOPSIDED APPOINTMENTS.
