It's 1961 and Klondike's Circus is heading across the globe for a much-heralded tour of Europe. The grand scheme is ambitious and full of uncertainties, a giant step into the unknown for Kal Klondike and his star-studded line-up of performers. But after years of success in the US, Klondike and his team believe their circus will be a hit abroad.

But, across the Atlantic, the tour is viewed as an invasion, orchestrated by Americans keen to dominate the industry. And Europe's premier promoters have a dastardly plan in place for these unwanted raiders. All the while, as Klondike attempts to navigate a path full of traps and adversaries, his entire project is being watched from afar by an old nemesis with a score to settle - in the worst way possible.

Everything is set for a wild ride... but who will come out on top?
