Sherry (Bride) Ites was born in 1965 in northeastern Iowa. Sherry was the 9th of 10 children born to Robert and Beulah Bride. Sherry married her high school sweetheart Scott Ites in 1985 and today they have 3 adult children and 4 grandchildren. They live near Indianola, Iowa. A proud homemaker, after their 3 children entered high school Sherry became a full time student and received her BA in Elementary Education. Sherry taught first grade for many years at a private Christian school. In 2018 Sherry and Scott relocated to her current home and became a Reading Interventionist at a local Elementary. Scott and Sherry enjoy the outdoors, hiking, biking, boating. Sherry has had a lifetime love for reading and poetry! This passion naturally compliments and invigorates her love for Bible study.
