She is also a wife, mother of two, author, founder of Seeds that Last Ministry, and owner of The Retreat, LLC. She graduated from The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with degrees in both Exercise and Sport Science and Sociology. She then received her Master of Science in Health Promotion from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. She has years of experience in health education, health promotion, and community organizing. She started her Seeds that Last Ministry to provide biblical-based resources for children and resources for women, especially mothers. Most recently, she is working to open a Christian bookstore that promotes community and collaboration to expand the Kingdom of God.
