Dragons, magic, mages, evil wizards, adventure, and a new world watched over by an Avatar and the gods above, below, and abroad.

Mages and their dragon partners must adapt after centuries of missing magic with its return and with the wizards who want to take it away again.

Along the way, they must deal with their growing gifts while helping their nation adjust to this new experience, where magic is present in much of the population in varying degrees.
