Separated from Connor, Katrina is injured and must rely on the help of Ajax, a stranger whom she only just met. It's a long painful journey as Katrina fights her way through the fallen city desperate to reunite with Connor and Sullivan. She finds comfort, though, with Ajax by her side every step of the way.
With time working against them, Connor and Katrina race back to the last place they were together in hopes of finding each other. It will take their combined powers, and a lot of luck, to once again break into the Institute and get their friends back.
A post-apocalyptic / dystopian story about an alternate world of magic and war where trust and loyalty between friends may be the only means of survival.
