When Rebecca Beldt suddenly wakes up somewhere she doesn't recognize, it falls on the shoulders of a young man, Daniel, to ease her into his world-the world of magic-as a vampire. Besides that, he tells her that the world's most powerful secret, a wishing star to grant any and all wishes, is hers now. Unfortunately for her, it's also missing. Along the way, Rebecca meets a team of magical creatures who not only become her best friends but also her closest family.
