Certain death stalks its victims in the dark. Guardians are the only protection. But what happens when guardians can't see?
How many times can one person die before it's the last time?
Always keep picture where they can see, or else they can't ward off the terrible things lying in wait. This short story received an Honorable Mention in the Writer's of the Future contest in 2022.
