Magic explodes as Ragnarök approaches. Vidarr must complete the Rod of the Dreki to have any chance of stopping the coming conflagration. The Ice Plains, Jotunn, and a host of vicious creatures stand in his way. To add to his woes, the Vala has the final piece, and the Gods have their own ideas of what should be done. The departed drakes and drekis complicate the situation further.
