Positive affirmation and self-esteem are essential for young children if they are to grow up to be productive citizens with a positive outlook on life. Big Dreams No Fears takes us on a journey with Jamie, a young girl who has big dreams and wants to share those dreams with those closest to her. When her excitement is met with dismissals and disbelief, she must make a conscious decision to push beyond others' doubts, and her own fears, to pursue her goals. She chooses to think positively and stay confident in her dream. Her determination is a reminder to children of all ages that we all have a built-in support system to help us achieve our dreams! The author, Dennette Bailey, decided to write the book she would love to have read as a young child toencourage herself.
