Cerno's Gambit

An alien invention malfunctions and accidentally transports four teenagers in a Jeep across the galaxy to crash into the cargo bay of a spaceship. Upon landing, they ruin the wormhole device which grabbed them, and until they help Cerno build a new one and determine what went wrong, they are stranded with no way to get home.
