Chroma

Kendall Hargrove has kept her mind powers a secret for as long as possible. Throughout her entire life, she witnesses color auras, battles fainting spells, and endures vivid dreams. Once her episodes grow too intense to continue attending her regular high school, her parents admit her to Chroma Academy in the seaside town of Pearl Shores.
While at her new school, she develops a camaraderie with kids who share unique psychological abilities and discovers the academy's challenging backstory. Kendall forges a deep bond with Tinsley, who sees futuristic visions. Once their mental energies merge, they find themselves in another dimension filled with peaceful Zen gardens. Because their combined gifts morph into something too intense to control, the friends are propelled into a surreal, time-traveling adventure.
Together, the friendship between Kendall and Tinsley explores helping others understand their repressed emotions, memories, and sacrifices. They must join forces to save the academy... and ultimately, each other.
