Chronicles of Ror and the Whisehitel Portals

About Chronicles of Ror and the Whisehitel Portals

One who stands out unwilling. Glistening white hair in the middle of a sea of raven warriors often made me stand out like the guy who was left puking in the closest latrine. I am Captain Ror half blood born between the Black Hair tribe, elite warrior hunters, and the Rested tribe, powerful and cruel sorcerers, better known as Pulse Riders. Magic in Whisehitel is called pulse and only those born of the Rested tribe are capable of it. I lead a life of endless journeys in an attempt to fulfill my prophecy; a prophecy that has left me celibate for nearly fifteen years. The next woman I kiss will become queen of the Black Hair tribe. Disaster could be my fate if I choose the wrong woman and every woman around me has immoral character reputations. To make matters worse no one in either tribe knows of this prophecy, else I would be attacked by hordes of women desperate to rule. Image trying to live for fifteen years without female contact after years of being one of the most promiscuous men in the world? Luckily for me the strangers from Earth are about to come once again, through the Whisehitel Portals. Every twenty-five years they come and it's about time. One who wants to but does not. I've written over four hundred songs. Only three made it to the world of "Single" status. My band keeps playing, I keep singing. My kid brother, a knockout gifted painter, is my biggest fan. Says where he came from there was no music. He's really great, for a foster brother. I just wish that gorgeous blonde waitress would actually smile at me once and actually mean it. Sometimes being Tim Burns can be cool, especially when there are babes dancing to my music. But when her baby blue eyes just wash over me I don't exactly feel cool. I feel translucent. It sucks. My strength is in my music. Maybe someday she'll notice me, someday she's actually listen to the music. Or maybe she'll get that runway model job she's desperately wanted and move away. Or walk through a portal and end up disappearing off the face of the Earth. I guess this means I have to follow her, I don't want her to be alone in a strange world unprotected. I think she likes the hero-type, anyway. One who doesn't want to. When Detective Ron Smith walked into my boss's office with news of a corpse, the air in the room suddenly disappeared. Caleb, my fiancé

Description of Chronicles of Ror and the Whisehitel Portals
