David and Liz

David Kruidenier is a publishing magnate and member of one of the most powerful
families in media; Elizabeth Kruidenier is an unflappable civil rights attorney and
champion of racial equality, women's rights, and access to education. Despite
competing interests, betrayal, and unthinkable tragedy, their love affair and
marriage endures against the backdrop of the last half century of American history,
