About Embracing The Blend
If understanding your life is important to you, then this book is for you!
Although the subject matter is psychology, it is not written by a psychologist. This book is written by a lay counselor. It is written in understandable language with the intention of providing you with the best understanding and tools to help you work with counselors or psychologists... and actually make some headway.
Your life is the way it is because of what you learned as a young child. Only by reframing your mind, will you ever make any changes of value in your life.
This book is practical. Why? Because life is practical. Theories have no place in living life!
. We have been taught that love is the basic desire that we crave each day. This statement is true, however, there is something far more important and of greater concern to each of us. Something that drives our lives from a deeper region than even love can access. The desire for it lives in every cell of our body and affects every thought we think ... until we finally allow it. That something is:
safety
You must understand:
IF YOU CHOOSE TO TRULY KNOW YOURSELF,
YOU MUST FIRST KNOW TRUE PERSONAL SAFETY.
Before you can open yourself to real self-exploration, you need to know you feel safe and comfortable enough within yourself.
Letting go of old thought patterns is much like a bubble floating into view and then up, up, and away until it disappears into nothingness.
As you stroll through the pages of Embracing The Blend, you will be given the opportunity to understand a new perspective on life.
This new perspective will help you to discover these aspects:
How you currently keep yourself safe
How you developed the core beliefs that structure your perception of life
How the methods you use to keep safe are working for you
How to develop new concepts of your personal safety that are more effective
How your beliefs about your personal safety structure relationships you have with others... and even with yourself
How to understand how other people are affected by their own belief systems
How you can help others be more fulfilled and true to themselves.
The writing style of Embracing The Blend is very casual. It is a conversation between my friend and me. This way you get to sit at the side and watch us as we go through the steps. Once you have read this book and have applied the concepts to however you are moving forward with your life, you and your counselor will find the process much easier.
