The Mockingbird is ordered for the Fortuna asteroid. The Fortuna Foreign Relations Office asks NATO and Russian Federation to defend them from RSCI clandestine ops. Lt. Arroyo-Diaz's team are invited to a "friendly" game of soccer with Russian security. Stanley Goddard runs into an old nemesis.

Threshold: Flipspace 5
Mockingbird is dispatched to an exo-planet to relieve an outpost team, only to get response from the small wind-blown base. Todd Ash draws animosity from the science team leader. He and Cpt. O'Connell uncover signs of extinct civilizations and what happened to outpost crew.

When It Rains: Flipspace 6
The Mockingbird arrives to an exo-solar planet 42 light-years away with a survey team. The science team finds intelligent life on sixth planet. Captain O'Connell's team clash with ISO scientists. Then, a derelict spacecraft is found beyond the planet's moon. How many S.E.T.I. encounters they face is uncertain.
