Forever Stylish, Praying Clara

This six-year-old child was put in a position that she never forgot that shaped the person that she became. Even though Clara was only six years old, she was smart beyond her years; and while she loved her family, she had already determined that the life she was going to have was going to be totally different from the life she was experiencing thus far. R. Jay Berry is the bestselling author, educator, storyteller, and speaker. She began her writing journey after a thirty year career at the Dallas Independent School District and retiring as Executive Director of Academic Services. Wanting to highlight stories based on actual events and the themes of Christian faith, family, and friendships, she released the Sunday Rose trilogy and the Forever Series. She is a proud member of the New Mt. Gilead Baptist Church and Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. Mrs. Berry lives in Desoto with her husband of 40 years, Bernard, and their German shepherd, Strawberry Sundae. Their son, Stephen, daughter-in-law Jewel, and grand puppies Peanut Brittle and Sadie live nearby.
