This is a well organized book with practical information about what foods to freeze, how long to store them and how to label containers so they'll be easy to find. But the best part for me were the favorite recipes included, examples of the kinds of foods you can make ahead of time and easily freeze. I was surprised by recipes for tortillas, special pancakes, even cinnamon rolls, pesto and salsa. Broccoli soup is something I'm going to make and freeze especially when it is on sale. I'm also going to make and freeze some of the low-carb dishes such as Fish Fingers and a sweet potato dish that sounds delicious and healthier than white potatoes.
