As she did with her first collection, NINE MASKS, J. Shamma McShain strives to break the boundaries between genres to create a graphic novel with a classy new look and feel. Based on the belief that kelp may defy scientific classification because it possesses traits of both animal and vegetable, J. Shamma McShain lets her wondrous imagination soar. She imagines not only that kelp may be unique, but may actually embody the thin veil which may separate universes. As always, J.
