How to Build a Body

Building a perfect body takes hard work, dedication, and sacrifice. Especially if that body isn't yours. The Black Friars are real! And one of them is dogging Shane's footsteps as he and his friends head south in their search for Talia. To escape the dangers of the wilderness, the group takes refuge in the idyllic little town of Bludorf, where it appears all are welcome. Even Fregold, the elf-lord who has rejoined their party, doesn't draw undue attention. Everything about Bludorf is wonderful, including the mysterious Baron's "creations," who flawlessly perform menial tasks. Then again, there is something off about them.

But when Baron Mauler introduces himself and invites Shane's group to come stay on his estate for a few days, the four companions jump at the chance, not realizing what's awaiting them. By the time all is said and done, mysteries will be solved, justice served, and lives changed. And, for at least one of the group, things will never be the same.
