In Search of the Rod

Vidarr Allefar emerges from his chrysalis as a dremma, a species that hasn't roamed the Realm in a thousand years. His mental powers have grown; and so have his challenges. He sets off in search of the Rod of the Dreki. His first stop, the Soolv Spyda, the clan that attacked his tribe a moon ago.

To the east, Belkin becomes controlled by an evil spirit as he pursues the murderous Sandarin, the alvae who killed his fiancée. Death and misery precede him. Then hound him.

To succeed, both must cross the hazardous tundra, the Ice Plains. In the dead of winter.
