Light's Rise

Darian was a young scout in the Imperial Austrian Army when Napoleon Bonaparte started his campaign across Europe. When Darian witnesses the people of his hometown being led to their deaths by enormous horned creatures, he realizes that Europe's war is dwarfed by an even greater threat. A mysterious man named Raphael provides Darian with two choices: stay and fight against the French, or join the Council of Light in the struggle to save Europe from a demonic overlord intent on conquering humanity. Darian's choice leads him into a new war, where victory lies in the hands of an unusual group of warriors with supernatural abilities whose sole purpose is to protect them all from an unending tide of evil.
